Hello, I have a 2003 TL Type S. The other night I went to start my car and it cranked and then shut off and hasen't worked since. The batteries in the key fob are good.
I bought the car with the remote start in it so I don't have the paperwork and manual on the remote start. I never had any issues with it until the other night. I did some research and I figured I would try to reprogram the fobs for the remote start. It says to press the programming switch 3 times but I cannot find any switches or buttons other than the one on the key fob. I tried using the one on the key fob to program it but it didn't work. I also found a small box with 2 wires by the fuse box and it had a key in it which starts the car. I tried using that to reprogram it and it still doesn't work.
Has anyone had any issues like this or know anything I can do to fix it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

 

I figured out the problem. Their was a inline fuse the in the back of the dash by the emergency break that was fried. I don't know why it was fried, they had a 30 amp fuse in it. I'm gonna replace the inline fuse with the right rating and use a 20 amp fuse and see if it blows again
