Power steering

Recently my steering wheel has started to get really hard to turn when I'm at a complete stop. Is the power steering pump done? I heard no whining or anything I hear air tho

No whining but you hear air?
Might want to change the PS inlet "O" ring first. Usually occurs when car is cold, but it's an inexpensive repair.
