Are the 2004-2006 TL power steering pumps the same as the 2007-2008 type s power steering pumps?

go to oemacuraparts.com...type in that you have a 2004...then type in that you have a 2008 type s and see if they are both the same part number.

my guess is yes. rack is different, pump the same.

So, how are they different? I looked and the part numbers are different, but the parts in the pump are the same. The seals and shaft are the same, just the price and part number are different. So does anyone know if they are really different or is there just a mark up for the Type S? I replaced my pump two weekends ago with a reman and its been fine. I was going to rebuild my original pump with new seals just for the experience and the fun of it, and all the internal parts that you can buy are the same...

i wonder if the more expensive one is better? haha If so, will it work on a ua6? The the fittings are the same for the hoses, then i would get it. its only a couple of bucks more.
