Possible to stop airflow to rear seats?

06 TL auto....

Is it possible to plug up/ or stop the flow to the rear ac vent entirely? Im not quite satisfied with how much air is pushed out by the TL even when set to just blowing for one section like --->.... I rarely have passengers and usually the car cools down over all either way. Thought maybe plugging the hole inside the console somewhere might boost the airflow... The TL's highest fan setting feels like it would be more around the medium for other vehicles...

Maybe my flow control is broken but even if I "close" the rear ac vents there is no reduction in flow back there. (i could probably just fix this first... but even so stopping the flow higher up would be better... no? )

Wondering where abouts in the console the actual ducting is... and if there are any "joints" anywhere where i could easily just plug it up?

I wouldn't say easily but if you pull the center console back. Not completely, just the rear half. You can get to the ducting that way.

Then there are also ducts under the driver's and passenger's seats if your that anal.

What are you hoping to accomplish really by blocking those vents? Max airflow out specific vents will probably not cool the car anymore than more airflow out multiple vents. You still need to cool the back of the cabin no matter if that air comes from the rear vents or the front vents.
