Attempting to fix my VSA issue. Wanting some insight.

Okay to explain my issue, i've had the same issue as most people with my VSA and traction light. At first, coming on randomly when driving, then it'll go away if I shut the car off and turn it back on, then eventually come on again. One day I felt witty, and decided to just reset the codes, and now the traction light comes on every time I start the car, then if I drive for about 10 seconds the VSA light will follow.

So, I use my buddies fancy scan tool at his shop for DTC codes, and I get one for the YAW Rate Sensor, and 'sensor logic failure', along with a few others that i'm pretty sure don't affect the vsa issue but still worries me cause I have no idea what they are, it was under body/electrical. "display panel control unit error(EEPROM error)" and "Communication circuit error(BUS off)"

Can anyone shed some light on those? And, is my issue i'm having 100% the YAW sensor? I can get a used one on ebay for $100-200, but don't want to replace something if i'm not totally sure thats the issue, but i'm sure it could be since it clearly says yaw sensor as the issue. Another thing, do other yaw sensors from other cars work? I read that some other part numbers from Acura's are compatiable with the TL's? But i'm sure it's the 39960-S3V-A02 part number. Just wanted some clarity on that.

I guess a good start would be replacing the yaw sensor, but I don't know much about TL's, all of this newer electronics make things complicated :/. I just wanna make sure of everything before I go throwing parts at it.

Probably not YAW sensor. My guess would be wheel sensor or poor signal from sensor/s. Have you had anything done to the car when the issue arose?

Nope, car is bone stock. Only thing I did was clear all the DTC codes, to try to start fresh because I thought there might have been some old codes lingering in the database.

But I fixed it using what this guy posted: http://www.tsxclub.com/forums/1st-ge...orization.html

Not really sure what caused it in the first place, but it's fixed now, everything works as it should. I'll just have to see if my traction light and vsa come on again randomly. But at least they don't just come on right off the bat when I start the car and things are functioning again so this is a big plus for me.
