please i need some help my side engine mount is broke and i gonna change but i want ask if i need jack up the car oh you jack the car only for the front thanks guys

I checked the Service Manual. The manual does not include any detailed instructions that I could find. Probably because the task is so easy that no details are needed. It is just a R&R job. R&R means "Remove" and "Replace". Nothing tricky about it. You do Not need to support the engine to remove the side mount.

 

By the way – Are you sure that your Front and Rear mounts are ok? I don’t recall the side mount becoming broken unless either the Front or Rear mount was broken first. The side mount does not experience much stress during it’s life. But, if the Front or Rear mount is broken, it will place “cruel and unusual” punishment on the side mount causing the side mount to fail.

 

A friend told me usually the front broke first and them if you don't replace the next is the side and them the back but I don't know how check if the front is broken because look fine but the side I know is bad but I order the front and the side because maybe the front is bad

 

I have been wondering the same... My side mount has a slight crack and all the other mounts look fine according to dealer. I am getting this taken care of next week as well as the HFL unit under my CPO warranty. Can the side mount crack while all the others look fine??
