Please Help, Frustrated Alarm
Guys, so the car went off about 6 times in the past two days. I brought it to my mechanic today and he put the scanner and found nothing, he tried to reset something but didn't work. I'm not sure what's going on.
For some reason the door DOESNT lock when clicking the lock button twice, but then it worked again when we clicked the panic button. Then we took it for a test drive (changed tranny fluid). And when we came back, the double lock doesn't work again. And the alarm didn't work.
It's been working, then not working, then worked again, then stopped working. In this whole process, the alarm has been going off intermittently. Please help me out here, I'm really confused and not sure what to do
UPDATE: My car alarm just went off again.
What am I supposed to do?

Three Wheelin'
I went through this when I had a leaking windshield ( Why do I feel like I've mentioned to you before )
Water dripped onto the MICU which made it go haywire.
Alarm would go off randomly and what I did to control that was to latch my drivers seat belt even when not in the car.
The MICU dried out, resealed windshield ( yes, it was leaking ) and havent had that problem again.
Remember, the MICU controls almost all electronics in your car. It's integrated into the fusebox under the drivers footwell.
