Please help diagnose immobilizer prob.

I've been at this for 2 months any help is greatly appreciated.Started with a blown headgasket, used code reader just to check before i disassembled.no codes and obd port operational .did the whole remove ,resurface ,replace typical blown h.g. repair.vehicle cranked no start ( checked and no spark)green immobilzer key on ins.panel flashing constantly as soon as ign.turned on.again checked code reader ,no codes. Didnt know anything was wrong about green light or immobilizer flashing could not diag.myself, had it taken to local shop. The next day the shop tells me they cant help me because they're code reader doesn't even turn on my OBD ports dead. I tried everything that ive read on immobilizer problems on this site and others including replacing the immobilizer unit in the column. Dont know where to go with it from here.
ecu prob? Shop sabotaged me? Any help please my TL is parked and it makes me miserable.thanks all.

You might have to get the key programmed to the immobilizer unit. Also close all the doors and lock the car. Unlock the car using the drivers door key hole, then try starting

OBD port is usually on the same circuit at the cig lighter fuse. Check fuse.
