PLEASE HELP!!! Crank no start issue
So today after cleaning out my car I started it backed it out of the garage and left the ignition on. About 10 min later I get in the car to start it again the starter cranks but the car wont start. Tried it with my auto start same issue. Jumped the battery and charged it still no luck. By reading other forums some guys say its the fuel filter or fuel pump. I have checked the fuel pump and it works fine and makes noise upon turning on the ignition. There are no error codes or check engine on. Sprayed starting fluid in the throttle body and it started for couple seconds. Does anyone know the location of the fuel filter or what can be wrong??? Someone please help me out on this.

Since you sprayed starter fluid and it started, something may be keeping your fuel from spraying despite your fuel pump turning on. Does your Auto Start have a safety feature that disables your ignition? You can try resetting your system by disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes.

its not recommend to spray starting fluid into a EFI... its not a carb engine i'm pretty sure u can do more harm then good...if it does start try pulling a code first in case.

My starting system doesn't have any cut out relay I installed it myself long time ago. It seems like the fuel rails don't get the gas or something wrong with immobilized system. I'm gonna try and troubleshoot the fuel pump tomorrow. Thanks for yours Guys help so far. I will be posting tomorrow if no good news.

i have been having the same issue... My car wont start on the first or second attempt. After that it will start but kinda shaky. Especially when its cold in the morning, it gives me a hard time but later on in the day it starts with no problem. I had a local mechanic look at it and he said it could be the fuel pressure rewgulator or the fuel filter, which they are both located in the fuel pump. So i ordered a used one from a 07 tl with 10k on it. So im waiting for it to come and we will see what happens...So you may have the same issue

so my car been out of commission for couple weeks now. i took it to the dealer to get it diagnosed they said they need 3-4 hours ($120/hour) and would need to take off all my aftermarket electrical stuff, i rejected their offer.
they are telling me there is no spark no fuel coming in, fuses and relay are all in working condition, and my under dash fuse box gets really hot when the battery is plugged in, Im totally lost what it can be now. Im gonna try taking the remote start modules out and take out the fuse box see if any defects inside of it. I just dont understand how it wont start out of the blue. I havent worked on the car for months and all of a sudden its dead

Had '07 TL with that problem. Our local Acura dealership would not say a service bulletin existed, but I found one from this site:-) http://www.aboutacura.com/2010/01/ts...fl-doesnt.html
Ours was in the overhead console, but don't know about yours. Find where it is and disconnect it (has quick disconnect). Then leave it un-started for the same number of days as with the previous battery discharge. If it starts, the problem might be a bad HFL. If your dealership is a good one, they will test yours. Ours refused so we bought a new battery from Sears, left the car for 3 days and a brand new $120 battery was discharged!
What happens is it may not shut down, thus creating a parasitic draw on your battery.
Eventually the part was replaced, but it took a lot of pushing.
