PCV Valve broke

Hey guys,
So I was changing the pcv valve and while trying to get it out, the top cover of the pcv broke and now the valve is stuck. It didn't fell into the valve cover, it's just stuck there.
Is there any way to get it out other than towing the car to a mechanic?
Thanks.

Well, I tried the nose pliers but there is nothing to hold on to. I'll post a picture.

Stick the needle nose pliers closed into the valve and then open it to "grab on" and then pull it out.

Or alternatively, you can buy a set of internal pipe wrenches, stick the proper size in and expand and then pull

There are multiple threads about broken PCV valve here you can look through for some ideas:

Update:
I got it out. The internal pipe wrench I ordered wouldn't fit, not even the smallest one. But I read on a Honda pilot forum that a 7/16-14 tap would perfectly fit in the pcv hole and it worked.

I broke it on my Pilot. I had some lag bolts left over from a porch project that were just the right size. really coarse threads to grab the plastic. i didn't have to thread it in far to get a good purchase and pull it out. Even if you don't have something like that on hand, easy to find at a local hardware store.
