Passenger side temperature up&down buttons light blown.....please help!
Hello, my 04 TL (Navi) has two bulbs blown the up and down passenger temperature buttons. Its the strangest thing ever..all my buttons light up but those three ( up, auto, down), even the mode lights up...any one know what it could be (i'm thinking fuse) pls help !!
Sorry -- only way to replace those bulbs is to replace the HVAC control/screen -- I suppose if you figure out how to remove the plastic button covers you can find the bulb type and replace them -- this would probably require a lot of work.
It's not a fuse (at least not one that you can change) .. that bank of bulbs may have been driving by a common internal circuit that shorted recently but maintained the functionality of the buttons themselves and didn't affect the other buttom backlights... makes me think it's not something you can have changed without just changing the whole unit itself.

You dont have to change the entire assembly out. There are bulbs that control the backlights for the temperature switches.
