08 Acura TL type s. After I install the bulb only. The day running light don't led anymore. Is there more to it when using these dlr led bulb?

What do you mean? You changed the DRL bulb for a LED and now it's not working? Are they hyper-flashing? Do you use a harness to get 12V instead of 6V?

 

You can not just plug a led bulb into the drl slot and expect it to work. You need a DRL harness.

 

Where do I get the hardness? When I purchase these light it didn't come with a hardness . I thought it was plug and play

 

Can you post a link to the exact ones you bought? You can buy the harness from VLEDS. It's about $50 for the harness. ijdmtoy also has the harness for about $20 I think.

DRL only provide 6V to lit the halogen bulb, LED need 12V to lit up and that why your LED isn't turn on, the harness will provide the LED bulb with full 12V to be power up.

I first used ijdmtoy harness for several months without problems. One day it started giving me issues. Both LED DRLs would not light up sometimes. Turned out the relay was faulty. Replaced the relay with a new one from radio shack and it worked for a few weeks and started giving me problems again. Put a new relay in and it still didn't fix the problem.

I finally decided to just buy the VLEDs harness and its been over 1 year and no problems yet...

 

Is it recommend to get the resister add on??
