I have a 2007 Acura TL base, just changed oil pump, all the seals for the oil pump and also a brand new Vtec Solenoid, the oil pressure switch on the top of the pump and the oil pressure sensor thingy that threads into the filter housing. Still have no Vtec over 3,500 rpm’s. As soon as it hits 3,500 instant stuttering and both the VSA light and CEL come on. Codes are P2648 A Rocker Arm Actuator Control Circuit Low (Bank 1). All wheel sensors codes are also on, and Engine Control Module (ECM) Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Relation Malfunction. I have read a couple of theads on these issues, all of them are from a couple of years ago with no solutions that solve the issue or there are some that didn’t work for me. I checked the pin that connects to the oil pressure sensor that connects to the filter housing all is good. After installing that brand new oil pressure sensor I had Vtec for like two times that I hit it but then the third the same issue occurred where it started stuttering at 3,500. Which leads me to think it might be might ECM? Anyone have this experience with all these god damn codes at the same time. Thanks- Alan
I don’t think it’s possible that all my speed sensors and abs went bad at the same time after not being able to go further than 3500 rpm’s. But I checked my grounds all are good. On the other hand. Does this connector look normal?
