P2138 labor charges

Hey all, I searched for a specific estimate throughout the various P2138 - Accelerator Pedal Position sensor threads and I did not see what is a fair labor estimate? I am not particular handy though I did see a post where someone had a 4 picture walkthrough of the replacement. My concern is me not performing it correctly and messing with the throttle has a lot of downside or messing something else up. For a competent mechanic is this a 15 or 30 min effort or more like an hour?

Thanks for any help!

no mechanic charges by the minute, they'll round up to an hour.

Hard to say. Labor rates vary by location. A shop in San Francisco would be higher than a shop in small town.

Book time might be an hour.

Edited to reflect modern business practices.

Book time is 1 hour, so whatever your shop rate is. Its super easy to replaced, all you need is 12 mm, 10 mm socket and a long nose plier, flat head screw driver.
