Hi All,

My 06 TL is running great but two months ago I Got a P0497 Code.

My mechanic (very trusted) and I have replace, everything in evap except the canister itself... Fuel tank pressure sensor, Purge Valves... and still it throws this code. Has anyone experienced this? He runs an evap test and it passes, but the code wont go away.

 

Maybe canister is falling apart and charcoal clogged the lines? Or you still have a leak somewhere. Need to start taking the system apart and checking one section at the time.
