Outside Temperature Reading -

Has anyone experienced a problem with the temperature reading being way off - like 10-20 degrees? I have an 07 TL Type S and have noticed that the reading has been off since its warmed up outside.

It might be normal; there's a thread here somewhere that describes the algorithm the car uses for the display, since the sensor in front of the radiator will pick up engine heat if the car has been sitting.
If it is still off after 5-10 miles at cruising speed, then there could be something wrong...

This is true there is a service news bulletin on it, some vehicles they can be adjusted through the MID by several degrees not sure about the tl though.

I read something about the conditions for the reading to update... but my problem is even after driving at freeway speeds. I guess I'll have to add that to the list...

Thanks
