Outside odors coming thru A/C

When I drive with the ac on say a truck releasing fumes is driving in front of me I can smell the fumes

hit the re-circulate button.

All cars have this button.
instead of letting fresh air in, the recirculate button, recirculates the air inside your cabin.

Replacing your cabin filter with one that's impregnated with charcoal might help somewhat. Both ATP and Fram make them.
