well I just recieved my xlr8 v2 j pipe and its missing one gasket, the small one. so all I have is one small and one large, I need another small one. is it possible to reuse the old one? probably not I'm guessing as the old one will probably be peeling off.

 

you can re-use the old gasket, for the time being.
dont be surprised if air starts to escape it tho.

If I remember right the OEM gasket is a round one and not the same... I could be wrong.

You can go to any auto parts store and buy a sheet of gasket. Trace your one you have and cut out the one you need.

 

I can't seem to find anywhere that sells sheet gasket that has a high enough temperature resistance. I called heeltoe to order another one and he was telling me "that u can put it on there without a gasket and it wont affect the performance, you will only hear it leaking if it does" sounds silly to me

 

exhaust leaks sound horrible

I wouldnt install it without that gasket.


and my knowledge on gaskets are lacking. I did not know they were different

 

hopefully my gasket comes in Saturday which I think it will. it only took like a day and a half for my jpipe. damn I'm just disappointed that I couldn't install it today > but thanks for the reaching justnspace!
