Obscured cracking sound in the cabin
Am I the only one who experiences an obscured cracking/popping sound in the cabin. The best way to describe it would be the same sound you would expect to come from your windshield if a pebble was to hit it on the highway. What the heck is this?

I have this problem! It is so annoying. I know its coming from the rear deck but couldnt find out what was the problem. When i installed my suspension, i had the rear deck taken apart, and still didnt know what causing it. I can only hear it if the radio is off

Noise from dash
So far I have taken my 2005 TL in for service four times for a driver window that rattles and a dash that makes crackling sounds. My window rattle is almost resolved. I thought that they had fixed it till I went on vaction last week and while driving over a bridge the driver side window rattle reoccured. Other then that my window problem is resolved. My dash keeps getting worse and over time has become more intermittent. (50%) of the time it rattles. My Acura dealer has really disappointed me with their service. I am in Atlanta and based off of my experience I would not recommend Nally Acura.

This might be it. It seems to only occur when I'm leaving work. And with temps consistently in the 100s, my car is seriously trying to cool off. Again, this isn't a rattle. Its a more of a pop.

Mine comes from the area by the grab handle above the door. There is a fix for this. They loosen the panel and put some foam in there. It is the hard plastic flexing when you hit a bump.
Mine only does it about once a month so I haven't bothered to get it fixed yet.
Go to the 3G Garage and do a search for rattle.

hey guys, i used to work for honda and the cracking noise is coming from the A Pillar, because it needs some wool felt cloth to prevent plastic to plastic contact...I dont know if this is the case for sure but it sounds like it. there are more reasons why it makes those noise so contact ur dealer

Window noise
My TL's window noise appears to have gotten better. It is not as loud or as common anymore. I am not sure what the dealership did. I was recently in Florida as I drove over a high, long bridge the window started knocking really hard and sounded as if it were going to fall out. The window knocking/rattle continued roughly twenty miles after driving over the bridge then it settled down. My new problem is my dash rattles. Its the strangest thing. As I took my car in for the window, each time I got the car back my dash would rattle a little more/a little louder each time. I suppose I should be greatful that my Acura dealer is on my way to work.

Is this something to be worried about, or is it a normal condition that happens with temperature change of the windshield?

There is nothing to worry about. This is normal behavior when the glass or plastic pieces heat and cool. I've never seen glass break because of this.
