O2 Sensors?

Hey guys,

My 04 6spd is starting to consistently get 18-19 mpg's lately with non aggressive around town driving. Will these cars trip a CEL when the O2 sensors go or do I need to run an OBD2? I just feel like it should be better than that. Thanks.

Yup, if an O2 was no good you'd get a CEL and it might even be intermittent CEL like mine was when my O2 went bad it would be on and off till i replaced the O2. Check your air filter, have you changed your plugs since you've owned the car? Are you driving around with any added weight? Anything heavy in the trunk?

It is time for all the above you have mentioned.. plugs and filter. And yes I do have some tools in the trunk. I had planned on knocking those out in the meantime as well. Thank you sir for your input.
