O2 Sensor Problem

Hey everyone, newbie to cars here. I own a 2008 Acura TL. I was jump starting my car when I noticed a burning smell/smoke coming from what I believe is the O2 sensor (I've attached a picture). It was faint white smoke but the longer the car was running the more smoke I saw. I haven't seen any service codes or anything pop up in my car so I'm not sure if this is a problem. I haven't driven the car much in the last week or so but I had been driving it a lot previously and never saw smoke coming from my exhaust or under the hood. What could be causing that? Thanks so much!

That is indeed one of the 02 sensors. did you check for tightness? hear an exhaust leak?
Its possible some oil may have found its way near there and would smoke.

check you valve cover right above, it is common for oil to leak from up top onto the catalytic converted (which the o2 sensor is screwed into) causing smoke.

I second the above comments. I have my own slow oil leak coming from a gasket in the area, I think, but as it doesn't hit the cat and my levels aren't getting too low, I haven't gotten to it yet.
