Hello,

My wife has a 2008 TL-S with about 36K. It's getting a P0154 O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 2 Sensor 1) DTC 154 reading.

Is this covered under the California 7-yr/70K Emissions Warranties. I'm reading mixed answers on the forums and the Acura Service Advisor at Stevens Creek in Santa Clara, CA is telling my wife it's not covered.

In my 2002 BMW M3, the O2 Sensors were covered under this California 7-yr/70K Emissions Warranty. Shouldn't this be the same for every make/model in California?

Hard to get a definitive answer, but I'd say they are covered.

The O2 sensors are in the FI system and sensors are listed in miscellaneous parts.

Thanks for responding, Turbonut. It's frustrating that all the documentations is saying it'll be covered but this one SA is adamant that it's not. It does make me second guess if I'm reading the warranty correctly. It would be reassuring to hear from someone who actually got a dealership to cover the O2 sensor under the California Emissions Warranties.

I'll update this thread on how things turn out.
