noise during throttle

coming from the right front (wheel bearing maybe?) sounds kinda like some balls hitting each other; lasts only a second, when I throttle from stop or at low speeds. any idea?

I have been having the exact same problem. Only cold and only giving gas. Weird.

do the CV bearing test

With the car stopped- roll down the front wondows so you can hear better

Crank the wheel all the way right and hold it there- now slowwwly begin to roll forward in gear-- listening for a click click click noise- can only hear at very low speed

Now try it with the wheels all the way left- any click click click?

thats cv bearing failiure- common if you lower the car, hit a lot of potholes or the rubber boot breaks and the grease gets out and dirt gets in= failed cv joint

replace the entire axle assembly with 2 new cvs and boots with the axle shaft together.
Its cheaper than trying to fix one bearing and have the other fail a month from now

Torn boots are a major cause of cv failure- check them first- if torn you have found the problem

CVs are good; it's a different kinda noise (only on initial throttle, straight or turning)

Yes I'm having the same issue... is it like a hissing noise only on a cold start? I've had my CV axles and bearings checked as well and they look perfect.

Mine sounds like a broken bearing not in the engine but more in the exhaust area or transmission.
