No outside temp display
On my guage pod the outside temp display just says OUTSIDE TEMP-----*c.
Everything else works. I had my car in at a stereo shop getting a sub put in but they just ran a (+) to the batt and tapped into the rear sub....has this happened to any others? let me know......where the temp sensor is?, fuse? ?????
Thank you

You have Navi? My coworker said he got a recall letter about this. (We both have 05's, but I didn't get such a letter).
It's related to the bluetooth and the loss of radio presets, and killing the battery issue. You experiencing a loss of radio presets?

Keep Right Except to Pass
My '04 flatlined twice on extraordinarily hot days last summer, but that's not too likely to happen at this time of year because it's supposed to flatline at temperatures above 113 F degrees. Try looking in the 3G TL garage forum, or in that other thread where someone collected all the TSBs. Your issue is addressed there.

Either disconnect a batter cable for about 4 seconds or remove breaker number 7 for around the same amount of time (I think it's number 7.. you may need to verify this).
If you don't fix this and leave your car sitting for several days, you will have a dead battery. The ECU goes into an error loop and just eats up cycles when your display is flatlined.
This happened to me when my car was 6 weeks old and just 36 hours from leaving on vacation by car.
If you do a search on flatline, you'll probably turn up quite a bit of info.
