search this one, lots of posts with your exact problem. The short answer is-it's not a big job but you need to remove the airbag. Everything you need to know is on this forum, including service manual scans of the airbag removal. Make sure you disconnect the battery and wait the prescribed amount of time prior to airbag removal. I did this job in about an hour the first time (start to finish) and 30 minutes the second time. Good luck!

I doubt they fixed it for 08'. Just replace the lamps with a higher quality lamp. That's what I did and havent had one blow yet. I still think there is something wrong with the design, but it would be hard to prove and/or resolve. Acura isn't going to address it any time soon either.

Is there anyway to replace the bulb color? As in, put blue bulbs in there or something? Just curious...One of my bulbs has blown and I have to fix it soon.

You can try finding a different cover for the bulb; it's like a mini-halogen that has a blue cover over it - might be able to find different covers online. There's always the LED approach, but when I did this in my accord they turned into strobe lights after a month or so then burned out..

A different cover for the bulb? I don't know if going with LEDs would be smart; however, didn't Kennedy put LEDs in his memory seat buttons? I wonder how that worked out and if it work the same way with the steering wheel bulbs...
