New year, new clock issue...
Hello all-
Last year (2021), my 2005 TL's navi system lost track of the time because of a known programming bug. No big deal; I did a full 07 navi swap and my clock was back in business.
The other day I was greeted with the exact same symptoms my crappy 05 system had - incorrect, un-settable clock and the calendar claims its 2002. It appears to be the exact same bug delayed by a year.
Anybody else having this issue? Would an updated map DVD provide a firmware update of some kind to fix it (I have a 2016 disc I believe)?
Thanks!

I might get in touch with Acura to see what they have to say about it, they were of very little help when my original system went kaput though.
You used to be able to swap in an 07-08 navi computer to correct it, but if the 07-08 navis are suffering the same fate there's not much point...

They still make update discs for the 07-08 TL system, so fingers crossed I guess...
