My clock went blank

 

What year and does it have navigation? The navigation unit messed up my 2004 tl with navigation. Replaced DVD player and had to pull battery cable at 1pm to reset. Navigation software is messed up and Acura has been "looking into it" for a long time . Try battery disconnect reconnect but be very careful to not short anything out when doing so. Very bad things could happen if you short out system . Somebody else probably has better idea but tell us year etc. Good luck

 

I have a 2006 with Navi but I installed the Tesla screen and maybe a week later the clock went blank. I was wondering if there a fuse or something

 

2004-2006 TL clock with navi is broken due to bad programming after 2020... Install the 2007-2008 dvd drive to get the clock back or sit without a clock. As soon as the battery looses power and then tries to get the clock/time back it'll be blank or show 00:00.

some folks have had luck pulling the radio/navi fuse at 11:59 and plug back in at noon so clock shows 12:00. My 04 did not do this though...

 

The DVD drive or just the updated DVD disc? I'm having the same issues with my 04 as well. Does the 07-08 drive unit swap right over, or does it require a full 07-08 radio swap as well?

Yup--I have the same problem. So many people are posting clock issues and not reading that EVERYONE is going thru this.

 

I will have to take a look at mine but guessing I will be in the same boat. I haven't been in my car since Sunday 1/2 and didn't notice anything at the time (no pun intended)
