Question New UR pulley noise?? Please help

Just did the 105k service on 9/25/14 and decided to add a new xlr8 ur pulley.

After installing everything and checking and re-checking everything it seems fine. Been driving the car as normal the car does feel much lighter on its feet with the pulley

On Monday 9/29/14 i had the car on with the hood open as i was checking some wiring i just did and noticed there was a wobble noise or some kind noise coming from somewhere. After spending over 1hr trying to figure out where exactly it was coming from my friend and I concluded it was the pulley. We took the wheel off and started the car again and it for sure was the pulley.

If this something normal? What can i do to fix this?

here is an audio clip i hope you guys can hear what i hear. Mind you the car was not making this sound before until after the install.

The pulley is solid so it shouldn't create any noise, but make certain when on it's aligned with the other pulleys. Also, check the tension pulley for any noise, and also did the belt ever get contaminated, antifreeze, etc?

never had one problem... but that sound sounds a little cheap... like a bunch of pigeons under the hood. But im not sure if its really related to the pulley so I dont feel like bothering with it. If it was an easy swap i would just replace it with the stock one...

Im just not really into modifying a car anymore as far as performance goes, it almost always comes with some kind of consequence to it. The reason Im slowly returning everything back to stock.

The only thing i will leave is my sound system and the wheels and tires.

Can try with the gates serpentine belt, I think the OE honda one was the culprit for some noises with the UR pulley.

You can pick one up at a local autoparts store, I forget the gates P/N but I'm sure someone at a auto parts place could tell you.

If you already have the gates belt then I duno what to say.

I have the exact same noise, i have all OEM parts recently replaced with Acura/Honda Genuine parts.

I believe it is in fact normal sound for our cars.

I discovered it after doing my 105k service as well.

My guess is its the timing belt and specifically related to the timing belt tensioner making the noise. I've seen a lot of posts and threads about this sound. Even a thread where someone went through and replaced every possible cause and the sound remained no matter what.

The sound actually got worse at one point, i went back under the hood 2000miles after i did the work and the tb tensioner was slightly loose, tightened it up and the sound got quieter.

I also talked to the head Mechanic at Santa Monica Acura and he listened and said this is normal, i explained to him just did tb change and he said it could be a break-in noise or an issue with the tb tensioner.
