New problem after baya swap, need some help

Ok, like the title says, i done the baya swap on my 2005 TL, everything went smooth. I had a P0717, so swapped out the speed sensors,(just went ahead and done both), reset everything. Everything was good, got the speedometer back and shifted great for about a mile. Then blinking drive light, anyway, pulled the same P0717 code, so i checked the sensor, it checked out, i checked the plug, it checked out, but i am still not getting signal to and back to the pcm, the wires arent broken either. Could it be the pcm not sending the pulse signal?

Maybe check ground G101?
If it was in the vicinity of where you were working during the AV6 swap it might be damaged?

Although the print screens below are from the 07-08 TL FSM, they (ground locations) may be similar to your 05 TL?

Good Luck.

New information has me believing i bought a transmission from a 2003 model accord, would that have any difference at all in the mainshaft "tone ring"?

Not sure what that is exactly?
If you can provide a diagram of what it looks like or, preferably, a part number than one could research.
#3 below is the mainshaft for the 03 V6 Accord:

As you can see above, for example, it has shared fitment with the 03-07 model year Accords.

Try sensor

I took the input sensor out of the acura trans i removed, stuck my finger down the hole and marked my finger , went to the 2003 honda trans in the car, done the same thing, and my finger went deeper before touching the gear. So, i found out that on an 03, there is a completely different input sensor than the newer ones, it has a longer shaft, so, it is a $75 gamble, i ordered it and will try it out, otherwise, im snatching the trans back out, and starting over.

Which sensor, below diagram, from your 2005 TL are your referring to?

I lost on that gamble. Im too far into this piece of crap to just scrap it, but also dont want to dump a bunch of money into it because it isnt worth it.

What was the 'new information' that came forth to lead you to the conclusion above?
I only ask because the best BAYA AV6 (non-hybrid) transmission is out of the 06-07 V6 Accord rather than any years preceding 2006.
One should shop the year when opting for this automatic versus the BAYA label / tag.

Well, i took the word of a salvage yard guy that said it was out of a 2006 accord, i just found out that it came out of a 2003 accord, and i am still having issues with the mainshaft input sensor giving no signal, replaced it 3 times, and put a known good sensor in place, still no signal. The year difference was the new information.

Did the salvage yard BAYA transmission purchase invoice have the donor vehicle VIN# supplied?

Based on what's been posted with all the sensors, I would imagine that its something with the wiring. I would try to do a continuity test of the harness & check all the connector pins.

The wiring is what i am attacking next, i have continuity from the sensor back to the first big connector in the main harness, going to try tracing from there to the computer under the dash tomorow.
