New guy with tranny fluid questions

Ok so i've only owned diesel pickups my whole life and this is my first car. Its an 06 white tl not a type s with 56k miles. Im wanting to change the tranny fluid and have read about the amsoil super shift and redline racing fluid and d4. Ive read where people run redline racing with d4 mixed and just the racing by itself, so im a little lost. What do u guys run for a car thats going to be my DD. thanks

Everyone else is gonna grill you for this, but I guess I'll try to help a little bit.

Read through some of those for a little bit of background on what to use.

Read post #6 here for a bunch of useful info, Inaccurate is pretty damn knowledgable about these cars

And change your pressure switches!
https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/110-diy-guide-replacing-3rd-4th-gear-pressure-switch-3g-tl-2004-2006-a-729149/

I don't mind helping out, but make sure you search first next time!
And don't use the forum's search feature, it's awful. I found all of these in ~2 minutes by searching google with "acurazine tl redline atf/pressure switches/3x3 diy". Good luck with it!

i did the pressure switch first and then using 3X3 redline racing ATF.

first two will be all redline racing fluid and the last drain will be 2 racing mixing with 1 D4.

hope this help

Thank goodness, just what we needed--a new transmission fluid thread. Just in the nick of time!

I ran straight Redline Racing fluid in my S/C TL and I plan on doing it again in my new TL. No mixing needed.
