Need hid replacement advice and/or directions
I have a HID headlight that is not working. I need to diagnose if it is the bulb, ballast, or ignitor. Does anyone know a link to a site that gives directions how to do this? Does the front bumper have to come off?
I've read a lot of posts that say to just replace the whole thing with aftermarket systems on both sides. But I am perfectly happy with the color of the beams, the performance of the lights, etc... It is my understanding that the aftermarket systems use different bulbs for high/low, and not the bi-xenon bulbs that take care of both. Is there an advantage for using the two bulbs rather than the bi-xenon.
