NEED HELP PLZZ!!!!!

I'm a new guy here so I would really appreciate some help. Not to long ago I had an accident and my right passenger side mirror was destroyed. So I ordered a new mirror and got it installed. Now the problem here is that when I put the car on reverse, the right mirror tilts all the way down but when I put the gear on drive, the mirror doesn't tilt back up. So every time I have to play with right mirror setting to put it back the way it's supposed to be. Is there a way to calibrate my mirror so that it tilts back up and when I put the gear on Drive? Or is there a way to put the setting back when I bought the car (may 2009) for both mirrors? BTW, ny left mirror work perfectly.

You could just leave the mirror control switch on the dash in the center position instead of leaving it on right. That way neither of your mirrors will move in reverse. Mine does it too from time to time but I never really needed that function anyway.

 

take it to the dealer, check body codes....

 

i also have a question about this... are both mirrors susposed to tilt when put in reverse or just one cause mine only does the side that the mirror is selected on and then returns like normal. is there a setting for both mirrors to do this at the same time when put in reverse?

Well, even though I live the switch in the middle, when I unlock my TL with my remote, the right mirror goes all the way up and then when I turn on the car, I have to manually (inside the car) adjust the window to it's right position. Same thing goes when I put it on R.

 

Either take it back to the shop that you had it installed, or go to the dealer.
