SO, I just got a 3rd gen TL and wanted to swap out the interior lights for LED.
I purchases the LED from Superbrightleds.com, went to swap the lights and the front map lights, changed fine. The rear passengers light, when I changed it, the electrical system went nuts.
Alarm is on constant, horns going off, front and rear lights go on and off. I had to disconnect battery and everytime I put the battery back on, it does the same constant alarm. I put the key in, car starts and runs, electronics work but the alarm wont go off.
any help? Did I destroy the car?

 

Not really sure, but when i did my i blew a fuse. I accidently connect the positive with the negative on the back light.

Look at your fuse and see if it blew, think it was a 7.5amp fuse (red) forgot what # it was.

 

yea just check and had two blown fuses
10 and 7.5
Gonna change the fuses tomorrow and hope and pray thats it
