Please Help!!

So i recently got a double din headunit installed. And after driving the car for a few days, ive noticed that the rpm's are changing around 35 hundred. Is there any chance that they are using power from the ECU to power the headunit?? Any input would help. Thanks in advance

I'm not sure what you mean by the rpm's changing. Do you mean that it's shifting gears at 3500? If you had a reputable audio shop install it they should have used an installation kit for the wiring and it would use the same 12v source that the factory head unit pulled power from.

Yes, its actually shifting at 3000 to 3500. When i never had that problem before unless i hit the gas hard. As far as installation kit goes not sure. Anything you suggest to look out for cpm06wdptl?? Cause i feel like taking it back so they can check it

I'm not sure what would cause the shifting problem. I would take it to a different audio shop so that a different group of installers can look at the wiring. That's all I have. Good luck!!
