Need advice for trunk latch rattle
To any of you guys who have subs in the trunk -how did you fix this rattle without adjusting the hook all the way to the bottom?
With it tight, I get NO rattles or buzzes anywhere even with my gain set high. But there are 2 things I don't like about having it set like this:
1) The trunk sits way below alignment with the rear quarter
2) When opening the trunk, the 'pop' sound is pretty loud. The sound itself doesn't bother me, it just makes me wonder if its bad for it being that tight. Today I actually had trouble getting the trunk open cause of this setting; which never happened before.
I already took care of the rest of the car with Dynamat and trunk liner fabric. Right now I'm trying to figure this one out and I'm stuck. The rattle can only be heard outside when you stand by the trunk.
Any ideas? Spacers? Dremel?
