Navi not dimming when on auto

Hey guys, kinda new to this forum, had an old account, sold my 04 TSX and bought an 05 STI, forgot my log in info. Just swooped an 06 TL with A spec upgrades but I notice that when my NAVI is on auto, it doesn't go to night mode when I turn on my headlights like my TSX did, I tried searching, no results

it's a fairly simple fix, press the down arrow on your gauge cluster and your done!

What happens is that there is a MAX button on the gauge cluster, and when you press that it overrides the AUTO function on the navigation system. When you press down once, it goes down to FULL bars which is MAX in the day but slightly dimmer at night. This dimmer night setting allows the navi to switch into night mode.

That is fucking awesome, thanks man! They didn't have the Max button on the TSX, I did press the max button last night, I'll try that later!

Right on, It worked. Also, I noticed that when I put the car in reverse, the mirror automatically adjusted down so I can see the curb when I park, now it doesn't do that anymore after I played with the seat memory functions did I mess something up?

The mirror must be selected on the dash mirror switch. Put it in reverse and select the right mirror, wait, then left mirror to see them change. Sometimes the motors do get stuck.

Cars do it differently, for Acuras the mirror that tilts down is the one the mirror switch is controlling. Selecting the right mirror on the mirror switch (as if you were to adjust it) would cause it to tilt when going into reverse. If the mirror switch is not selecting any mirror, then no mirrors will tilt.

BMW E46 on the other hand, will refuse to tilt the pass mirror if the switch is set to adjust the passenger mirror (presumably because it's waiting to be adjusted).
