I bought 2006 Acura Tl today with navigation. The navigation was starting withthe acura logo and going to disclamer screen and then back to logo and disclamer. I took the battery terminal off for sometime which reset everything. I entered the codes for radio and nav but now it goes to acquiring signal and back to logo to acquiring signal.

My question is what can I do to fix it?
Is there anyway I could disable the navigation and just use the cd player options on the touchscreen.

 

Do you have the DVD installed? Check the trunk.

My TL didn't have the nav DVD when I got it, so it would loop as you indicate. However, hitting the 'Audio' button allowed me to use the stereo without a problem.
