My window is screwed up or is this normal?
Sorry for all the threads lately
!
I noticed my window moves to the right when I roll it down. (passenger side). Is this normal? Its annoying me since you can see the untinted part! It comes down halfway then you can see it slightly move to the right. I can push it back in but is this normal?
Here it is when I roll it down.

Take it into the dealer?

Yes just had it tinted. How can it go off track ? These people do a great job around here and did a nice job on my e60. Cars dirty maybe that's why it looks bad ? Jw how you can tell.
^tint guy might've accidentally messed with something while he was working on your car.
window regulator cable might have been inadvertently moved. maybe you can try resetting the regulator. the instructions are in the following thread. worth a try. hopefully it's not broken.

the tint job just doesn't look computer cut to me. they have a lot of unnecessary space up top near the edge and sloppy cut lines on the vertical side. plus you can see air bubbles. maybe it is just dirty tho, hard to tell. i'm sure it looks good in person.

Its not the tint itself that looks bad, its TERRIBLY cut and not AT ALL edged correctly. Let me take a picture of mine and show you how flush my tint is.
Edit: there is no part of my window thats bare, naked, or missing tint. The cuts are clean and to the tippy top brim of the window, side to side, front to back. I also used the highest grade ceramic I could find and had a friend in the tint business do mine. Typically, when you get tint, they tell you not to roll your windows down for like 3 days, for it to cure.

By just done I meant recently done. Got them done a month ago and I didn't roll the windows down for one week. I am concerned about that gap, I thought that was normal. I have the same gap on my other car. As far as the window being off track.....would that be covered under warranty ?
I used to have window visors after removing them I have started having all these issues. The tint on my back window kinda peeled because of the visor.....the guys redoing it should I have him redo all the windows because of the gaps?

My passenger side window is also out of track. It's a replacement door from another TL. Even though the window is out of track, my tint installer did a good job tinting it (besides offering me felt/moleskin) and it shows no gap like yours...
Even your back window rolled down shows alot of excessive gap between the top of the glass and where the tint actually starts.... You have to have a good keen eye to know if a tint job is good or not, and if you think that's a great job than idk what to tell you..

I went to 4 tint shops today as well as the Acura dealer and they ALL told me the gap is necessary on these cars. They said if they don't leave a small gap then the tint will start peeling over time. With the gap there is no peeling.
Each tint shop said the work was great and the gap is normal. Even the Acura dealer said they leave gaps like that. So I dunno. lol

my tint goes all the way to the edge with maybe a 1 mm gap to the edge. my tint guy hand cuts his tint. yours looks like a pretty big gap to the edge of the window.
i agree with the others on the window tracking issue.

The manual on page 20-30 says remove door panel then remove the plastic(white?) cover.
Carefully move the glass until you see the glass mounting bolts. (You have a long bar(track) that goes vertical, the two bolts are paralell to each other on both sides of the bar(track). Loosen them.
Push the window towards the outside part of door(door latch).
Tighten bolts and make sure yhe window moves freely.
