My TL won't start, battery seems to be OK
As soon as I turn the key, all lights go out, and I sometimes hear a relay clicking continuously. This is even without trying to turn the key to the "start" position. As soon as I remove the key, the dome lights light back up again.
After some time, the problem just vanishes, and the starter cranks at full speed (not like it would if the battery were bad). This has happened to me a few times, almost leaving me stranded once.
I tried using a different key to see if it was the immobilizer. I also checked the battery connections to see if anything was loose. Any idea what might be wrong? I'm probably going to take it in to the dealer but I'm afraid it might not act up while it's there.

Nevermind. I took the negative cable off of the battery and discovered that there was corrosion interrupting the connection. I scrapped the corrosion off and now it works fine.
