My sweet little tl
Hi!
I have owned my TL which is named “HW” because of his Hot Wheel Tim’s...as of late his health has taken a turn for the worst. We keep up on maintenance,, unfortunately the issue run deeper and I can’t quite figure it out, I’m not a mechanic, but I have video and am open to suggestions. This car is as with many of you my livelihood. I had to get a jump yesterday and I just replaced the battery last month. Also, there is a new ticking sound which I would think to be a relay switch, but I’m not sure that applies to cars with a brain.

As for a dead battery...there are a couple of common culprits:
1.) The HFL modules tend to fail and eat batteries until disconnected
2.) A/C Field Coil gets stuck on
3.) Failing alternator
Not much else is generally "common" on killing the batteries on these.
