Are my motor mounts bad? + Which oil do u use?

Hi All,

So I have done every single repair on this engine that can be done besides replace the torque converter or Transmission. I changed my Transmission mounts about 5 months ago, but the Front, Rear and Side motor mounts around 4 years ago I'd say (maybe even 5). In those 5 years, I have done a lot of maintenance, including adjusting valves, timing belt, etc. Eeven after all that work I still get vibrations in gear at idle (worse with the A/C on). I am thinking maybe the front and side mounts are worn out by being on an engine that was not running in optimal condition. I have a video here showing the front/side mount as well as the overall engine view as I hold the break and accelerate in drive and in reverse, as well as neutral. Can anyone tell me if I should replace the front and side mounts again? In reverse the engine seems to have a lot less play in my opinion.

Thank you all in advance! These 2 mounts are 300$ total so I dont wanna waste it but I think it'll help. The vibration is all I want gone. I want to not even be able tell if the engine is on.

Side Question: Amsoil Synthetic vs Penzzoil High Mileage Platinum vs Mobil-1 Extended Perfromance High Mileage Oil?

Did you use OEM? If not, aftermarket fail in very short order, esp anchor brand I learned the hard way

As for your oil question.

those are all high quality oils. Won't make a difference which one you use if you're changing it out every 7.5k-10k miles.

Well, I bought the mounts ($480)... The good news is after I replace these, that's it. The car has basically everything replaced and will run like new hopefully.

It'd also recommend doing upper and lower trans mounts while you are there. Make sure engine is neutralized before you tighten down the mounts so it's resting in a natural position (not putting undue stress on mounts).

I did the transmission mounts 1-2 years ago IM not re-doing those. :/
Also, I will just have my trusted mechanic do it. So Im sure he will neutralize them
