My beloved 3G may have developed the dreaded tranny problem
I'm driving to work this morning when I notice the green light (gear indicator) is blinking. I never noticed any issues with my tranny so far. I drove it to the dealer and now I'm in a '10 4G Tech loaner.
I'll report back when I know more info.

The automatic trans on my 07' TLS didn't even downshift today when I punched it. With 65,000 miles I'm sure it will hang on until 100,000 miles & then BLOW UP when ex-tended warranty expires.

Don't let them replace the tranny on your dime when it still drives fine. Get some quality fluid in there, change the filter, change the pressure switches and drive it until it dies completely (if it does).
If it is under warranty, then let them change it out.

I do have an AcuraCare warranty and I have 75K on the clock. Up to now, I've been following the MID for service and has the tranny has the regular Honda stuff in it. The funny thing is that I was planning to have my Honda dealer do a 3X3 soon.
The dealer called to say that they were replacing the 4th pressure switch and flushing the tranny. I picked up the car after work today and it still seems normal. I hope all is well as I have a near ly500 miles roundtrip tomorrow.
The loaner was pretty decent. I drove it about 70 miles and it was a very nice ride. I'm one of those who can't get with the 4G styling, but it sure does drive nicely. I do think the steering feels a bit light comapred to my 3G. I made a few trips in the loaner throughout the day and it was nice not having to use a key.
