Okay so my Driver side window regulator went out in my car.. I bought a brand new Regulator an installed it this past weekend.. It work window goes up an down but the only Problem is that if i roll the window down just a little bit seems like the window is kicking forward because i can see where the tint stops on the window..

Also if the window goes all the way down when i hit the button to auto roll up the window comes up about 4 inches an goes right back down. ONly way it goes all the way up is if i hold the button..

CAN ANYONE HELP ME FIGURE THIS ISSUE OUT PLEASE

 

the 2nd issue is being caused by the 1st issue...it's sensing resistance and thinks it's an obstruction and kicks it back down.

Are you sure you got the glass back in the track possibly, tightened all the bolts holding the track in place? Weatherstripping pressing in all the way? I'd also suggest adding shin etsu or a silicone based grease to inside the weatherstrip, this keeps the glass sliding up and down smoothly.

 

i have the same issue with my driver side door since i bought the car used. I tried spraying lube on the window rubber seals. it help a little and the window now goes up and down with one auto touch but extremely slow. tomorrow i will take the day to remove the door panel and inspect everything...
