I have 2006 acura tl w/6speed tran. with about 74,000 miles. On cold start the car runs rough and stalls at times but run fine and has all the power when it warms up. check spark,timming,they were fine also did a seafoam clean. Did a compression and the results were (cold) cyl. 1-240 2-220 3-250 4-160 5-150 6-150 (warn) cyl. 1-250 2-235 3-280 4-235 5-200 6-210. Has anyone had this problem or any advise.

 

Last time I got the code all cylinders misfiring, all my exhaust valves were bent and I had to have the whole upper half of the engine rebuilt! Hope that's not what it is!

 

WTF! thats crazy... got my 04TL at the dealer right now for misfires ALSO! hope its not serious.... WILL KEEP YOU GUYS [posted when she gets back.

 

DAMN update... they decided to keep her another day! Still wating.... tick-tock tick-tock...... stupid clock in my head.

 

OK shes back!... RESLTS:

CULPRIT: COMPUTER MISREAD..... they reset & updated the ECU with the latest updates.

good thing it wasnt anything MAJOR!

Good for you! If the code comes back...you can bank on some bent exhaust valves. Hope that doesn't happen.
