Just curious if any knows a way to adjust the MID so that it will read miles to empty based on the 17 gallons in the tank and not based on 14.xx gallons.

I drove 70 miles on the freeway once the MID said 0 miles to empty just recently. Why you ask... My friend in his g35 and I were on road trip and we didn't want to stop for gas every 340 miles. There is a thing called a cruise range and we were trying to see how far we could go an tank.
