Hi,
I have 2004 TL. I had small sratches on my right side door, so I ended up giving my car for paint to a body shop. The body shop did a good job, but to paint the door, they dis-connected the battery. After they re-connected the battery, my right side mirror does not tilt down when I put in reverse gear ( 6-MT ). I cannot even see lights on my driver 1 and driver 2 memory seat buttons. I tried to set seats memory, but there is no response from the system.

Sounds like a fuse blew.

Check Fuse #7 in the fuse box in the left kick panel under the dash.

If that one is OK, check Fuse #4 in the fuse box by the air filter under the hood.

If neither one is bad, check with the dealer.

 

what about the mirror adjustment switch? the mirror only moves if the if that switch is in right mirror adjustment position.

 

Make that the left, driver's side, position.

 

you both are right in that it tilts down the side that it is set to adjust.
