Memory retention after battery disconnect?

The battery terminals on my TL are heavily corroded and I was going to clean them up. However, I was wondering what I will need to reset/program. I know I will have to enter the radio theft code (I have that). What else will be blanked?

Radio station presets?
Hands free phone book?
Homelink?

I'm not positive, but if you have nav - you will need the code for it as well as the radio.

Get one of these and a 9-volt battery and you won't need to do a thing:

^ or if you have a 12v battery power source with cigarette plug you can use that- you'll want to turn the ignition on. I did this when replacing my battery and everything worked well- I could even listen to the car stereo while doing the replacement which was another benefit.

This all assumes you have Nav.

You will loose very few presets. You won't loose your radio or seat and settings, for example. You may want to check your "Sound" settings (fade, balance, bass and treble).. I don't recall it those are lost. You will need your codes so have them handy before you remove your battery.

when i used to work at a stereo shop, I would leave the car running to prevent any lost presets. Im not 100% sure if this would work on a TL though, worth a try =)

I cleaned the battery posts last night. I only lost the seat memory and had to reenter the radio code.

Stereo presets, homelink, and bluetooth settings were not lost.
