Hello to all. Hope you guys don't mind another newby.

I recently purchased a used 2008 acura tl. after I signed the purchase papers they handed me a single key and refused to get me another.
Also, no manuals whatsoever.

I am worried about keeping maintenance up and have a lot to learn about the car..
I can get a manual off the net but much to large to carry in the vehicle. Around 200 pages.
Would appreciate any help on where to find an original mount and where to get another key for less than the acura price of $250

Check the last couple of pages of the owner's manual you have-- it should show order numbers from Helms for various manuals, IIRC. I'll let someone else advise as to which vendors can get you a new "switchblade" key, but you might have to get it programmed for your car by a dealer or locksmith.

Not sure about keys, you could try local key shops that specialize in proprietary chips in the car keys.

 

Check with heeltoe to get a switchblade key made...I love mine, and it won't feel like a complete ass rape since you'll be getting a cool key.
