LSD going bad?

LSD going bad?
I have a grinding pulsing I can feel coming from the front of the car and alittle bit the steering wheel when pulling off from a dead stop and making a turn. Its usually occurs when making a left turn but now sometimes I hear it when I make a right turn. It also happens when the car has been driven for over 45 min, not when its cold, and more noticable if there is an incline. I had the cv joints "checked" and they say they are fine, no torn boots, no cv joint leakage along and mounts look fine.
I saw some other other say this was an issue by some who had a differential put on their old integras.
Has anyone experienced this with their mt TL?

yeah I tried that the wheel on the opposite side turned in the opposite direction. I also notice that I never feel the right side wheel spin, usually the pull is coming from the left with alot of wheel spin if pulling off on an incline (straight) and it keeps spinning until it gains traction. There is no grinding sensation.

if the wheel spun in the opposite direction, then it confirms your LSD is working.
I would physically check mounts, especially the lower tranny mount.
I ripped mine to shreds and thought it was my LSD as well.

ummm, yesterday while going to red box i was taking a left u-turn.
I heard clicking.
might be axles?
what concerns me is that I do play with my car and might have induced wheel hop a few times.
How would I know if the LSD took a dump?
I'm assuming the gear being broken like that, I wouldnt be able to shift?

took off my tires to inspect axles.
they look fine, no tears in boot. no leakage.
I did, however, find a ripped tranny mount.
MY car isnt operating correctly, I'm still concerned about the LSD.
is there a way to test it with out doing burnouts and putting more strain on the tranny?

Operation:
- engine off, raise front end and place on jack stands
- block rear wheels and apply parking brake
- Shift trans into 1st and rotate one wheel by hand and make sure other wheels turns opposite direction
- repeat procedure for other wheel
Limit Torque Check:
- engine off and front on jack stands
- block rear wheels apply parking brake
- Trans in neutral, using a flex-type torque wrench measure max torque while rotating wheel backwards (use two full rotations)
- Trans in 1st, repeat previous measurment
- Calculate limit torque by dividing step 3 by step 4 (should be greater than or equal to 2.5)
- Repeat procedure on other wheel
- Replace LSD if limit torque is lower than 2.5
They are saying it should be more than twice as hard to turn the wheel with the car in gear.

I saw that in your earlier post with Banners as well. I thought it was torn because of the jagged look, but realized that is the way it looks, and the dealer said it wasnt torn.
I am wondering if the differential has its own oil and somehow it has thinned/dried out.
