Low air flow through vent?

Low air flow through vent?
I have an 06' AT w/ navi and was wondering if anyone had problems with the heater or A/C producing little amounts of air flow through the vent. This morning it was 24 outside and I turned up the air flow all way with it being vent and floor and I barely felt any air at all coming out. Is this typical or do you think something is blocked? I really only notice it when I have air flow going in two directions, but there still should be more output than what I'm getting I would think.

Same with me, you're feeding six vents with top with body and feet selected. I suggest put it on feet until it gets warm and heat your seat. Sometimes I just heat the seat.

Is it just the center console vents or is it the side vents as well? My car seems to push very little air through the center vents, but a lot of air still gets blown out the ones on the side. And like jupitersolo said if make it just blow out of one area it seems to do a lot better.

Full of water...
no, i have never had this problem. it does come out a lot slower at first, at least until things get heated up, but once it starts producing hot air, the fans turn up and things work as it should be. i think my ac was like this too. it wouldnt just starting pumping air out, it would wait till it was producing cold air and then the fans would increase speed. but i think this was only with the "auto" temp button selected.

It doesn't really matter if the car is warm or not, it still produces little amounts of air. All of the vents have little air flow, not just the middle. I shut the upper vents going to the rear of the car in hopes of directing more air to the front, but that didn't do much either. My parents have a Toyota 4 Runner with the same amount of vents and there is plenty of air flow in the vehicle. I would just have thought with a 30k+ car, that something like this wouldn't be much of a issue. I just thought there was something obstructing the vent, but if you tell me that you don't have much either, then I guess it's not a manufacturing defect. Any other info would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think this has been discussed 28502390.4 times - the airflow from our vents is generally lesser compared to other cars / american cars that sound like a leaf blower and blast out leaf blower amounts of air....
that's just the TL folks...the point is that it does its job as the climate control but I'm with you in the fact on hot days or cold days, you want the COLD or HOT air with more velocity...

Ok, sorry about not noticing the other threads, did not see them. Apparantly my search skills on here aren't the best. Thanks for the info though, glad it's not just mine.

Have you checked/changed your cabin air filter? My be dirty/blocked. Could make some improvement.

It hasn't been too cold in Atlanta for me to worry about it, though.

The Owner Manual recommeds replacing the Cabin Air Filter every 15,000 IF you regularly drive in area with lots of dust, etc.
At 14k, the Cabin Air Filter *shouldn't* be the cause of reduced air flow.

why is is that the Center vents put out such little force of air? My 04 TSX has full power through all the vents. but in this 07 TL, it's not the same.. any reason for this? I'm about to change the cabin filter, it's been 32K miles, never been done, so maybe a little difference with that?
